1. Introduction

The "ReferIN and Win Promo" (the "Promotion") is a referral-based raffle campaign sponsored by InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham to encourage customer sign-ups and referrals. The Promotion runs for a total duration of 8 weeks, commencing on September 7, 2025, and ending on November 1, 2025. Participation in the Promotion is subject to these Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs"). By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these T&Cs. InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time, with notice provided via the InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham platform or email.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for the Promotion, participants must:

• Be legal residents of Nigeria and at least 18 years of age.
• Sign up for an account on the InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham platform and successfully validate their Bank Verification Number (BVN).
• Refer at least two (2) new customers to InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham, where each referred customer must also sign up for an account and validate their BVN during the Promotion period.
• Meet the referral thresholds outlined in Section 4 to qualify for specific prize categories. Employees of InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham, their immediate family members, and any persons directly involved in the administration of the Promotion are ineligible to participate.

 

3. How to Participate

• Entry Requirements: Eligible participants earn entry into the raffle by referring new customers as described above. Each valid referral counts toward the participant's total referral count.
• Referral Tracking: Referrals are tracked via unique referral links or codes provided through the InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham platform. Only referrals that result in a new customer signing up and validating their BVN will be counted.
• Qualification Categories: Participants are categorised based on their total number of valid referrals achieved by the end of each 2-week draw period. Higher referral counts qualify participants for higher prize tiers, as detailed in the Prize Schedule below.
• No Purchase Necessary: Participation does not require any financial investment or purchase on the InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham platform beyond the sign-up and BVN validation.
• Entry Limits: There is no limit to the number of referrals a participant can make, but all referrals must be genuine and comply with these T&Cs. Fraudulent or automated referrals will result in disqualification

 

4. Prizes and Draws

• Draw Schedule: There will be a total of four (4) draws conducted every two (2) weeks throughout the 8-week Promotion period. Draws will occur at the end of weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8.
• Prize Categories and Winners: Prizes are awarded based on referral qualifications, with the number of winners per category as follows. All prizes are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and non-transferable.

• Total Prizes: The aggregate prize pool across all draws is based on the above schedule, with a total of 389 winners.
• Draw Process: Draws commence from the highest prize category (starting with 10 referrals at 2,000,000 NGN) and proceed downward. Winners selected in a higher category for a given draw are exempted from subsequent lower category draws in the same draw period to maximise the number of unique winners.

 

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• Selection: Winners are selected randomly via an electronic raffle system from the pool of qualified participants in each category. The draw process is supervised by InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham's internal team to ensure fairness.
• Notification: Winners will be notified via email and/or in-app notification within seven (7) days of each draw. Participants must ensure their contact details are up to date on the InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham platform.
• Verification and Claiming: Winners must respond within fourteen (14) days of notification and provide any required verification (e.g., proof of identity). Failure to respond or meet verification requirements will result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.
• Prize Disbursement: All winners will receive their prize as units invested in the Chapel Hill Denham Money Market Fund within thirty (30) days of successful verification. Taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner.

 

6. Publicity

• By accepting a prize, winners agree to the use of their names, photographs, and testimonial content by InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham for marketing and promotional purposes, without further compensation.

 

7. General Terms

• Data Privacy: Personal data collected will be used solely for the Promotion and in accordance with InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham's Privacy Policy.
• Disqualification: InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham reserves the right to disqualify any participant for violating these T&Cs, including but not limited to fraudulent referrals, multiple accounts, or any attempt to manipulate the Promotion.
• Liability: InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance of prizes, except where prohibited by law. InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Promo at any time without prior notice, provided such action does not disadvantage participants unfairly.
• InvestNaija by Chapel Hill Denham’s decision on all matters relating to this Promo is final and binding.
• Governing Law: These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
