👸🏾 In Celebration of International Women's Day 2026 👸🏾

For generations, women have talked about money quietly. In kitchens. On phone calls. In careful whispers. This year’s IWD theme, Give to Gain, challenges us to do the opposite. To speak openly. To share knowledge. To build wealth together.
So, we sat down with four women at Chapel Hill Denham, across different roles, career stages, and financial starting points and asked them one question:
How has InvestNaija helped you manage or grow your wealth?
What came back wasn't a rehearsed pitch. It was honest, personal, and full of the kind of wisdom that only comes from actually doing the work.
Their testimonials were a reminder that when we invest in ourselves and share what we learn, everyone wins. And as you'll read, the most powerful thing these women are doing isn't just building their own financial futures. They're bringing others along for the journey.
Meet Viva (Chief People Officer), Ibironke (Head, Customer Experience and Retention), Blessing (Investment Banking Analyst), and Dami (Research Intern).
Four women. Different journeys. One common thread: investing intentionally.

"Delayed gratification is the greatest thing I can pass on to my children."
Through InvestNaija, I’ve learned the thinking behind choosing one investment product over another, when to buy, when to hold, and why it matters. The recommendations are backed by the full strength of Chapel Hill Denham, and that gives me complete confidence.
I’m not a portfolio manager, and I don’t need to be. Knowing the investment management team is behind it is enough. The Chapel Hill Denham name represents excellence, and that builds trust immediately.
What truly changed for me was structure. I automated my investing through payroll, so before my salary even hits my account, a portion is already working. Sometimes it’s as little as ₦5,000. The key is consistency. Pay yourself first, before restaurants and impulse buys.
I’ve also encouraged friends to invest, often redirecting spending conversations into wealth conversations. And at home, I teach my teenagers delayed gratification using a simple glass piggy bank. It’s a small lesson, but it builds the mindset that some discipline today creates freedom tomorrow.
That, to me, is Give to Gain in action.

“I used to save. Now I invest.”
I grew up believing in saving for the future. I was already familiar with investment options like Money Market Funds and buying stocks. But honestly? I had trust issues. So, like many Nigerians, more of my money sat in bank savings accounts earning almost nothing.
InvestNaija changed that.
It's taken my approach to another level by giving me access to a wider range of investment options all in one place. The LearnIN podcasts are incredibly educational. And I love being able to track my investments in real-time and watch my money actually grow.
Here's what's shifted: I no longer leave idle funds in my bank account. The attractive rates on InvestNaija encourage me to save and invest even more. It's easier to stay committed when you can literally see your wealth building week by week.
Now I'm an evangelist. I genuinely believe in growing wealth with friends and family, so I tell everyone: "Download InvestNaija." Because why should I be the only one winning?
That's "Give to Gain" in action: when your circle wins, you win bigger.

"I now see money as a tool that can appreciate and create long-term value."
I downloaded the app in 2024 but started using it actively in 2025, and it has since transformed the way I think about money. Previously, I believed saving was the only way to manage finances responsibly. Park it in the bank. Watch the balance. Feel secure.
But through InvestNaija, particularly the LearnIN module, I gained a deeper understanding: saving means your money sits idle, gradually losing value to inflation. Investing means your money works for you.
InvestNaija introduced me to practical opportunities within the stock market and helped build my confidence to start. Rather than viewing money solely as something to preserve, I now see it as a tool that can grow and create long-term value.
This shift in perspective has been one of the most impactful outcomes of using the platform.
In line with this year's IWD theme, "Give to Gain," I've shared these insights with friends and family, encouraging them to think beyond traditional saving options. Through these conversations, I hope to continue spreading financial awareness and empowering others to make more informed decisions.
Because financial freedom shouldn't be a secret you keep to yourself.
Blessing, Management Development Program Candidate (MDP)
"Even my 'urgent ₦2k' feels like the beginning of something bigger now."
InvestNaija changed the way I think about money.
Before discovering the platform, my relationship with money was simple: earn it, save it, repeat. Saving felt responsible, but it also meant my money was mostly sitting still.
InvestNaija introduced me to a different mindset, one where money can work for me and grow over time. Now, even a small amount like my "urgent ₦2k" feels like the beginning of something bigger. It could grow to ₦10,000, and eventually ₦100,000, with the right investment decisions.
That shift has made me more intentional about building wealth rather than just preserving money.
The LearnIN module played a big role in building my confidence. Watching the videos and learning about concepts like risk appetite, compounding, and different investment options made investing feel less intimidating and more accessible. It gave me the knowledge I needed to take charge of my portfolio.
Giving back is important to me, so I try to share what I learn. With a relatively large following on X (formerly Twitter), I often talk about InvestNaija and encourage people to explore it from learning through LearnIN to saving with SaveIN, planning with PlanIN, and investing with InvestIN.
For me, "Give to Gain" means helping others start their own financial journeys, too. When my followers win, I win. When more women invest, we all win.
Give to Gain in Action
These women are professionals. Leaders. Young graduates. Mothers. Interns. And now, Investors.
And they all started the same way: by taking one small step.
InvestNaija is not about overnight wealth. It is about structure. Discipline. Education. Access. The confidence to move from saving to investing. Here's the truth these four women have learned:
Financial freedom isn't something you wait for. It's something you build. Deliberately. Consistently. Starting today.
This International Women’s Day, the invitation is simple: Start.
Start small. Start learning. Start building.
Because when women invest in themselves, everyone gains.
Don't just celebrate women's empowerment. INVEST in it, starting with yourself.
